| Here are some Pictures of the Barber's Pole, 134 South Street, St. Andrews in 1984. Michael used to cut Pictured is the Late great Michael Zamora, who retired early in 1995. Michael used to tell some amazing stories, none more so his story about being at School with the Pope and they played in the same football team and they used to swear at each other ! A picture of Michael still hang respectfully on the shop wall |

| Roy Robertson, one of the few people who can do the 'Hand Painting' keeping in with the traditions of the Barbers Pole. The Barbers Pole's Red and White Colours Signify the Olden day Barber where it signified Blood and Towels (red and white) when the Barber, was a chiropodist too. We found a couple of bottles of ether and another of Acitone hidden under an old floorboard, it took Fife Council 15 minutes to arrive at the shop to dispose of these very dangerous items we were just going to throw down the drain ! |

| 1996 saw some radicle changes to say the least, out with the old and in with the New !! we opened a Branch in Leven at 8 Commercial Road. We even decided to get a car with the Company Logo down the side More than one child thinks the shops should sell lollipops !! This was an era Scottish Enterprise helped you to be Enterprising and gave away Grants for New Businesses, And an Era where Clive, Glen and Brian could be seen putting the westport Lights up |

| Between 1997 and 1999 Shane Pierce took over the running of the shop , and Badger the Infamous dog not very far Behind. Shane moved away .and Joanne Malley, Christina Innes and Marie Johnstone, joined the team |

| Steve Cooke (Pictured with Wife Arlene and daughter Leigh) Opened the Barbers Pole has taken a backseat in the Business after his daughter Leigh, who nearly slipped into a Coma in 2002, aged 1, was later diagnosed as Scotlands youngest sufferer of Diabetes (she has two injections a day) |
