Management, Wage Structure, and Staffing
As previously mentioned the company already has an established Payroll with our accountants .
We have our two most senior staff ready to manage the new shop. Both the ladies have been with us for over 4 Years. We have a Junior Stylist who we will be coming with us.  This will release vacancies in St. Andrews.
They will not have to deal with the retail or Internet side of the shop

Born and brought up in Pittenweem and attended local schooling. After school i carried out an apprenticeship
in Helen Allan, the hairdressers in Anstruther and remained working there for 9 years.I  secured SCOTVEC

We decided that these girls should work out our employment strategy out for us.

Our wages system shows a
MASSIVE wage rise for hairdressers, and a reward for the countless hours they stand on their feet .

WAGES

Wages will start at the hourly rate of £8, which is the basic for up to 150 haircuts for the business per week.
£9 for 180 haircuts
£10 for 210 haircuts
£11 for 240 haircuts
£12 for 270 haircuts

INCENTIVES

Top cutter of the week receives £100 extra

Hairdressers
will not need to handle money, as we will employ a receptionist, who will be a trained salesperson also.

Cutter of the year wins a Holiday!

We do not promote tips, in this new era, our staff are well paid and the old tradition of 'making up your wages' isn't required.

We have an ex manager of a massive Computer High Street Store coming to work for us. Her expertise in this field will be invaluable.  She also happens to be familiar with the centre  and its trends, not only that ,she is an already well known face. Her input and advice so far has been invaluable.

We will be running Morale and team building excercises

We aim to reach out into the heart of the comminity as we already do in St. Andrews
We have held informative talks with Glenrothes Job Centre warning of our possible arrival.
We aim to employ 12 full/ part time Staff on the Hair Cutting Side to judge response, but within a short period of time, we expect this to rise based on our research

We would employ 5 people in the Sales department, all with an interest in the Company and  all with Sales skills. We will also  be addressing what areas of the Business could be  improved, from day one.

We have an experienced web designer on standby  ready to give this project his full attention and with  Scotsmuir on the fine tuning of the software they are creating for us.
